No matter your level of culinary experience, having a well-crafted set of knives makes all jobs easier in the Kitchen.

Prior to purchasing a set of knives, it is important to research which knives are available and what knife may be more well-suited for you.

This article intends to compare two renowned knife brands, Kamikoto and Cutco, and will do so by comparing their 7-Inch Santoku Knives.

Over a thousand years of craftsmanship have inspired the final form of Kamikoto Knives, which in turn has yielded a tool that will stand the test of time. Kamikoto’s 7-Inch Santoku Knife is complemented by a 7-inch single bevel blade that is handmade using high-quality steel from Honshu 本州, Japan. Both blade and handle of this knife are satin finished, providing an elegant glow to this traditionally crafted knife.

Inspected multiple times by expert Japanese knife smiths and stamped with a certificate of authenticity, each Kamikoto Knife is crafted to last a lifetime and are packaged in a natural-colored ashwood box.

Produced in the United States, Cutco knives are manufactured through a process called stamping and are made of high-carbon stainless steel.

Cutco Santoku Knives come in sizes between 5 and 8 inches, however, the 7-Inch is the most common.
